MAIN SPOTS OF SURFING
The legend of taghazout was born in second moitiée of the seventies with the arrival of the surfers and hippies. Ten years later in the eighties, French and from portuguais followed movement to discover the capital of the Africain north surfing.
The combination of the heave generated by depressions of Atlantic north, alizées offshores and a variety of points, of reefs and beaches, made by the region of agadir a destination of surfing exeptionnelle.
From September till April, the region benefits from a constant swell creating waves of worldwide class. The diversity of blips succeeding one another in the region of taghazout allows a surfing of any levels including in summer when the heave is less powerful and break less formed in taghazout.
Point break right, sharp rocks, better in high tide, northeast wind. Good waves; good in 1m, 1m50.

Good Beach break right and left which takes the heave well when other blips are flat. Better in flood tide. Medium level of difficulty. Pass to low tide by small heave and offshores winds .

Wind offshores, sideshore by wind of north, who can blow force 6 while it is flat in taghazout. Very good powerful and constant tubular right on slabs of rocks. Rather short but very quicker . Better in flood tide. Medium level of difficulty +. Put and fished out of water not easy, be carefull to sea urchins.

His name of the orcs holds killer whales who come from time to time in the zone. Stake 10, 15 mn to arrive at the take off. One of the best break of the region composite of three sections:
1.The first one, the broadest is a big bowl.
2.Intermediate, much longer, composed of quick sections.
3.The long and hollow inside is more regular and smaller.
When the heave is big (1,50 m), three sections can be connected and allow a 300-metre surfing. Work in any size, mi-tide, any tides. Sheltered from northerly winds. Medium level of difficulty .

Space which breaks in the open sea.Point break right and left on sharp sandy rocks , mi-tide any tides, west north wind on the inside of mystéry. Source of fresh water on the beach. Not much seen frequently.

Space of worldwide class. Tubular right on sand / rocks with succession of perfect tubes which require a substantial heave. The quality of wave depends on silting-up. Zone of take off restrained. Require a good level. Better in flood tide.

North of taghazout. Very nice wave, express, which breaks in front of the beach of Aftass. Medium level of difficulty.
